Orlando’s Hard Rock Live, home to music history was a most befitting venue to host the 2015 ControlTrends Awards to celebrate the true heroes and superstars of our HVAC and Building Automation industries. ControlTrends was delighted to present the AHR Expo organization with a ControlTrends Industry Service Award, recognizing their 86 years of service that helped organize and shape the growth of the HVAC industry. Hans R. Franz, of Frankfurt, Germany, a remarkable man whose relentless and collaborative efforts led to the global adoption of BACnet was inducted into the ControlTrends Hall of Fame. Ed Merwin of Tridium received the Petock Award, and congratulations once again — to all of the Category winners and Young Gun Award recipients. The 2016 ControlTrends Awards will be held January 27th, 2017 at the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas. See you there!
